Interested in helping out and learning everything from magazine layouts to marketing and distribution?  We are currently looking for Summer 2010 interns to work from mid-June through early September on our fall issue.

We promise we’ll throw you right in to get your hands dirty with a group of artists who are constantly multitasking between designing layouts, editing photographs, conducting interviews, corresponding with sponsors, planning and producing photo shoots, styling models, meeting with boutique owners, and planning events. You will learn what it really takes to be a young entrepreneur and be part of a ground breaking magazine from the start.

We are looking for committed interns who are super muti-taskers,  know their way around the city, and have a keen eye for design. You should be comfortable working independently and be able to interact professionally with sponsors and talent.

Our internships are unpaid and part-time.

Photography/Design Intern

• We’re looking for someone with a passion for photography who is interested in learning about lighting, composition, and shooting in film and digital.
• You will be helping produce photo shoots from portrait sessions to fashion shoots, assisting with lighting, styling, and backgrounds both in studio and on location.
• Fluency in Photoshop is essential for this position, as well as experience with InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
