• fashion:district, 10.28.10 at Stroga: The venerable ReadySetDC’s spectacular on the state of fashion in the District. Interested in seeing a live runway show? This is the place.  Pop-up shops, art and music complement fashion by Ginger Root Design, De*Nada Design, Derringer Friday (all featured in the latest issue of Worn!)  and more. Tickets are selling fast. Don’t forget to stop by the Worn Magazine table to say hi.

• InstaVintage Competition, 11.4 at Phillips After 5: Worn Magazine photographer Joshua Yospyn will be shooting pictorialist portraits following the TruthBeauty exhibition’s theme. In addition, ReadySetDC will announce the winner of the InstaVintage Competition, a photo contest that is open to everyone. Submit your photo by 11.4 at 9am.

• Chocouture Photography Exhibition, 11.7 at Biagio Fine Chocolate: Haven’t seen the Chocouture article in the latest issue of Worn yet? View the entire photo series (published and unpublished) at Biagio’s Studio B. And munch on yummy chocolates from Biagio and Co Co. Sala while you’re at it.
