Welcome to Honfest, Part 2
Posted by Joshua Yospyn | June 17, 2010
My first post on this retro Shangri-La stayed within Hampden’s Glamour Lounge, but today we hit the street for several portraits.
Honfest was initially described to me by Elizabeth Graeber, a DC-based artist who’s illustrating a guide to Baltimore (see here). I can’t thank her enough, because it lived up to every expectation. Plus I enjoy seeing surprises several days after taking a picture, such as the syringes in this girl’s hair and her friend’s seahorse earrings. It’s hard for me to notice these details when I’m over stimulated. Such is Honfest.

I realize not all of you are using giant Mac cinema displays, so we’ve installed an alternative method for viewing photography on the blog. Similar to the Activation portraits, just click on the thumbnails below to see smaller versions of today’s photos. Or, just keep scrolling for the bigs. Remember to leave us a comment down below with your feedback, every bit helps.
