Dupont Circle: Look and Listen, Part 5
Posted by Joshua Yospyn | May 3, 2010
You may see Rob walking around downtown with photographer Matt Dunn, looking like a couple of Bronx thugs. Both have been hanging around Dupont Circle lately, giving me protection from unfavorable subjects I approach. There’s strength in numbers.
Rob reminds me of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s latest song, which goes over and over, “I thread the needle through, You beat the devil’s tattoo.” This design goes over Rob’s shoulders and onto his back, basically covering his entire upper body. He’s a walking work of art.
As summer approaches you start to see more skin, which means you start to see more ink. We begin with Rob.

Above is Rob in shade near the Dupont Circle fountain, but after this frame we took a shot in the sun (below).

Sick tats. Also I hear Rob was an excellent country club valet.
Matt – a Bronx thug? Have you ever seen a thug that skinny? I always thought that maybe Rob was Matt’s bodyguard…Remember the movie My Bodyguard?
What hold does Matt have on Rob?
